The Uganda Baptist Seminary exists to train men and women called by God in spiritual, intellectual and practical areas of life so that they can be effective Christians, knowledgeable in God’s Word and skilled in using and proclaiming the Word of God, for the building up of the body of Christ through the local Baptist churches and denominations.  To this end the school:

• Provides curriculum for Certificate level, Diploma level, and Advanced Diploma level which is taught through the medium of the English language
• Ensures that the educational objectives of the school are met for each individual student
• Upholds high academic standards, individually applied, to challenge each student
• Promotes continuity of curriculum through all levels of the school
• Acknowledges the need to evaluate and improve continuously instructional methods and resources
• Provides an educational program which reflects the international nature of the school
